West Coast Things
For most of July, Ray and I were blessed to be able to spend some time on the West Coast focusing on our #1 ministry--our marriage! We had such a good time relaxing, connecting with each other and having some down time to dream and talk about what we hope to accomplish in the coming months. We are so grateful for our West Coast family for hosting us during our time out there.
Almost 10 years ago my mom sent me to a Victory Outreach G.A.N.G Retreat where I heard the gospel for the first time and the seed was planted. God was calling me to trust him but I wasn't ready. During this trip, I had the opportunity to attend the VO G.A.N.G (Gods Anointed Now Generation) Convention I was overwhelmed with gratitude when I looked back on the past decade and how faithful God has been. God has given me a vision, a passion, a burden, a calling for my city, for addicts and for this generation. I am so excited to see what the next decade holds. Here I am, Lord, send me!
During our time out there we also got to attend the Recovery House of Worship Southern California Church and weekly bible study. Keep this church in your prayers as they continue to grow. Pray that God would send committed leaders who are sold out for the Lord.
This song was on repeat during our trip. One of the highlights of the trip for me was waking up early in the mornings and spending time with the Lord on the swing on the balcony of the home we were staying in. This song ministered to me. The Lord is faithful and can be trusted to lead me.
